Will they or won't they ?

Placed a call to the Mint tonight to straighten out a shipping problem and during my conversation, I asked about the ship date of Silver American Eagles (Proof) The customer service rep whom I was talking to laughed (she then said, "excuse me I forgot to push the mute button") and told me she too is a collector of these fantastic coins. I then asked if there was STILL a shortage of Silver for the program and she said YES !!! My next question was when will the "Official" word come out about it. She advised me to call back this Wednesday or Thursday evening and they would at that time probably have the official word. So, to me it looks like everyone can forget about SAE Proofs again this year. I will post any updates I hear of.

Just a thought......Will suspending the production of these again increase the "value and market presence" more so than normally experienced ? Just a thought......
