I recently received an email from a Registry member offering me the coin!

Recently, I received an email from a Registry member asking if I would be interested in an 1890 Half Eagle graded XF45 by PCGS as he was upgrading to a better grade. At first I was a bit wary of the offer, but as I conversed with the member, I became comfortable with the idea of the deal.

So with my auctions closed on eBay and the hammer prices of my sales exceeds the $$ value of the 1890, tomorrow the deal will be completed (with approval rights to return it if I am not satisfied) once I am paid by my buyers.

BTW- The total mintage of the 1890 Half Eagle was a whopping 4,240 pieces.
