When I logged into the system at about 5pm last night, the awards were not posted. They were however posted a little bit later, so NGC did as they said they would and I jumped the gun. Mea culpa, mea culpa. As for the second part of my post, grading fees are going up per the NGC website, www.ngccoin.com, attached is an excerpt ...

Effective January 15, 2006, NGC will be implementing a new fee structure for some of its services.

Fees for Office Walkthrough, Earlybird, GoldRush, Economy, World Express, World Standard and World Gold submissions remain unchanged. Also unchanged are NGC?s Designation Review, VarietyPlus and Reholder services.

Express will increase to $55, Specialty Gold will increase to $26.75, Modern will increase to $12.50 and World Value will be changed to $16.50.

NGC?s onsite Show grading remains unchanged at $100 for coins valued over $1500 and $65 for those valued at $1500 or less. However, Gold coins valued at $1500 or less, when submitted five or more at a time, will be $50 per coin. Guaranteed delivery within four hours of submission at shows may be purchased for an additional $150 per coin under NGC?s Expedite Service.

It further goes on to state the fees for their premium Photo presentation sets.

p.s. I talked to Mr. John Taylor, president of Anacs, last week and guess what... Anacs is soon to launch their own registry. I wonder if they will have a broader base (Anacs + NGC + ??) Should be interesting.
