Breaking out

Cracked out all of the odd slabs.

I don't know what made me do it but after winning some Conder tokens in a local auction and decideing to have then graded by NGC I said to myself "Why not break out all the coins I have in odd holders and send them along with the Conders?". That's what I did. Slabs from PCI, SEGS, NNC, ANACS (old and new), ICG, and even from the unheard of FTGS (First Token Grading Service) were pryed, hammered, viced, and tin sniped apart. I've had some of these slabs in my collections for a decade and some for only a few weeks. Just as a small note to go along about the cracking out, is that by far he hardest slab to break were 2 from SEGS and the easyest being from PCI and the new ANACS. I agreed with the grades on most of the slabs but it did seem the the coins in the NNC slabs were a point or two over graded. I've kept all the tags from the former slabs and will let you know how they come back from NGC. Now I know you're asking why didn't I use the crossover option. Well, I didn't want to have any fail to cross over and end up with the odd slab back in the collection and have paid for it too. Okay so this is gaetting a little long. When these coins and tokens get back, which could be awhile, I'll put up a new entry and give you the results. Best2u.
