Why do we let them do this to us!

I am personally in the camp who believes that this coin will be a real winner- appreciation wise. My problem is comparing something with this coins mintage to the 2006 W "Blue Lable" which is absolutely no different than a 2006 w anniversary silver eagle, or any of the other 2006 W silver eagles (around 500,000 total mintage)- except for the piece of colored paper inserted into the holder! We get talked into these "first strikes" which are not first strikes, "early releases" which, for my taste, means nothing, and yet they sell for more. I suppose in the big scheme of things, they are what they are and if one person wants to spend an extra couple of hundred dollars for a colored piece paper, then that is his or her business. Mintage, condition, and variety determine value- not the color of the emperers's new clothes. I, for one, am gathering all of these 2008's that I can put my hands on, because raw or graded, they will be real collectors pieces.
