rfar did nothing more than share his experiences.
The removal of rfar's posts was uncalled for...
I sit firmly in the camp of those who believe that rfar was only providing us with valuable information and that NGCs removal of his posts are unjustified. None of his posts asked us to act a certain way. We simply had the benefit of incorporating his experiences along with a whole host of other information in making our decision. Now I am certainly glad that all of my information set regarding Heritage auctions are not solely based on their own advertisements. Did someone from Heritage or ANA bear down on NGC? I wouldn't doubt that. But I am shocked that NGC (and Collectors Society) buckled so easily. Were there any legal ramifications for NGC? Not in my opinion. NGC is covered by its disclaimers while rfar said nothing slanderous but simply recounted his experience which were well supported with documented e-mail trails, etc.
