I too have 'em!

But mine are a bit different but maybe at least partly why we're into this "hobby".

I too sit and watch the price of metals grow. I feel smarter than many of my friends/co-workers/family because I acted. I have been telling them for the last 3 years gold/silver are the smart hedge and a good place to park some assets. I started buying silver in the $6.25/oz price range. Gold was about $400/oz when I started buying. And platinum was $900/oz.

Here are the mixed feelings.

We are heading into uncertain economic times. Some say recession, some say stagflation. Either way the $USD is falling, and metal prices are rising. I am glad I feel some what diversified and have a growing invstment but this hurts the Good Ole US of A, and I hate to see this.

The PCGS price guide on this coin has shot up. Numismedia price rise has been more modest.
