I bought 3 gold coins, 1 silver coin and a small gold bullion bar!

I had been trying to slow my buying (read spending) on coins. And I had done pretty well this fall, until yesterday.

I became the proud owner of an 1888-S $5 gold half eagle, an 1882-P $5 gold half eagle, 1856-O 25c and another 1994 1/10 GAE. Also, 2.5 grams of .999 gold to add to the bullion hoard. I thought all 3 gold coins were purchased at very decent prices!

These will be the first additions to my $5 gold half eagle set this year. That leaves ONLY 169 more of them to finish that set.

Gold is where I am putting my extra $$$$ in. Gold prices will continue to rise, especially when the Fed cuts interest rates and the USD drops more.
