Picked up a few nice ones
I recently purchased a framed set of coins that contained a 1923, and 1924 Peace dollars, and a 1889, 1901-O, and 1921 Morgan dollars. A total of 5 coins, and they appear to have been sealed up in this cardboard cut-out display of U.S. Dollars since maybe the 70's. They are all toned dark grey-blue on the reverse, and toned around the diameter on the obverses. I will try to post pics of them. They appear to be either almost uncirculated, to un-circulated. I have not seen silver dollars in this nice of condition in a while. I hope they come back with a decent grade. The surfaces of these coins appear to have few, if any tiny nicks here and there, but they almost look proof-like. I have a good feeling about these. I do not normallly collect Dollars, but I could not pass up this deal. Paid about $70.00 with shipping for the 5. Maybe they will all come back MS-66 or better. I will keep you posted. If the first pic posts, I will post the other pic right after this post.
