Sorry for your loss

I am deeply sorry for your loss, and give our prayers to your wife and family. I feel a certain comradery in this forum as Bruce mentioned. When I get a new coin, or just have one of those rare days, I know I can come in here, and brag, or vent, and I feel safe in doing so. I honestly feel when a group of people have a common interest and interact within a well-run forum such as this, it can have a very positive effect on everyone involved. I can give you a good example. A couple weeks ago, I received a message from a reverend who is a member in here. I am currently battling cancer, and this gentleman told me that his mother makes custom slippers free of charge to people with cancer, ect, or basicly, anyone who would really like a pair. He wanted to know if I would like to have a pair. I thanked him, and accepted his offer. They came in the mail this evening, and they are very nice. His mother wrote me a page long letter, and as I read it, I felt as if I were reading a letter from a friend I have known for years. (I lost your screen name sir, but I will respond via regular mail to your mother for this very thoughtful gift & letter). I hope that the reverend will post a journal soon, so I can thank him in here. He may object, but he and his mother should take a bow, because they are a perfect example of how people are in the Collectors forum. Again Clay, we are all behind you, and hope for all the best for you and yours.
