THE question of our hobby

It took me a long while to understand "luster or lustre". I think I know luster when I see it but I doubt I could even describe it. I might be able to show someone luster. I know you WANT luster!

In numismatics, the amount and strength of light reflected from a coin?s surface or its original mint bloom. Luster is the result of light reflecting on the flow lines, whether visible or not.

Now that I have found a definition of luster maybe I don't know it when I see it.

The 1891 dime in the photo, IMO, is dripping with luster.
