My long awaited nickel
A 'Walker' turned into a 'Jefferson'.
My NGC graded 1947-D Jefferson Nickel, has finally shed its previous skin that stated it was a .50c , rather than a .05c. I guess it shows that NGC is only human. I thought it odd that one of my first submissions to them came back with that error, but just as well me, as any one of you, right? And waiting on my newly-won (FINALLY!) 1947-D Roosevelt Dime MS 66. Graded by PCGS, so maybe if I submit this one to NGC, I may squeeze a 67, or 68 out of it? PCGS is rumored to grade a little tougher, who knows. Also, if I send the dime to NGC, it keeps the whole set NGC certified. My 1999 9 piece clad proof set just hit Quality control. Hoping for a nice surprise, its hard to tell about proof sets.
