MY COINS ARE HOME!!!
Something happened on the way to the grading room-----
As a few of you out there know, I have been waiting for my 1947 PDS uncirculated mint sets to arrive, and they have. But there are a few problems. The most disappointing one, is my 1947-S Rossevelt Dime. Came back in a body bag. Improperly cleaned. I inspected it, but since I do not know what to look for, alas. I must find another to replace it. Another problem, which can be solved easier, is sending one of the slabs back to them. My 1947-D Jefferson Nickel, (which graded MS 66) is registered as a .50c piece. Says it is a 50c coin on the label also. Somehow the .05, and .50 got reversed. I called NGC, and they said to mail it back with a form for a 'reholder'. Then write on the form manually 'mechanical error'. They said also to send a copy of the postage to send it, and they credit your account, or cut you a check. So, my 'complete' 1947 PDS mint set, is still being built. I have entered the coins I have so far in my set for those who are curious how the rest of the set graded.
