What price pedigree?

As coin collectors someone fill me in- a 2006 W MS70 silver eagle trades from anywhere between $285 in the ZF6 mode, about $425 in the black label anniversary mode, and as high as $1000 in the blue label anniversay mode.....these are the exact same coins are they not folks???? Someone educate me please, but except for the NGC or PCGS label( a slip of blue/beige/black paper)- which had to be sent to them in sealed boxes (because the grading companies knew THEY couldn't tell the difference)- these coins are identical, right? If you have an opened gold/silver set and send the silver eagle in now, it is still a 2006w burnished silver eagle but it is only worth the price of the ZF6 coin- a difference of $750.00 for the same coin (and ungraded it does not have any more value than any other W eagle on the low side!). Note that these burnished eagles are selling for more than the real rarity, the reverse proof eagle and the difference in mintage is 250,000 to my estimate of 479,000 for the burnished coins in total)It seems to me that we, as collectors, are digging a big hole to have ourselves buried in!!!! I don't want to go back to the days of non-graded and encapsulated coins, but I also don't want to give these grading companies the keys to my house either! Of course, I am willing to pay big money for a presidential dollar with the printing on the edge right side up, right...or was that wrong side down.....as long as it is graded, encapsulated and has a pink piece pink piece of paper in the holder saying it is great!
