The cent is down, the half is down...and now I'm down.

Merry Christmas one and all! It's been a while since I posted. I moved to Tampa from DC, and MAN! it great to be in Tampa! I'm not a DC kinda guy. While in the mist of moving, I had some coins that I asked to be held while I got a firm address if they would of been sent at the time of my move. My one entry had over 400 hits which was titled ...and a hush falls on NGC. Well, the outcome of waiting for those coins to come back, all of which were sent in as errors, only one was noted as such by them. I had sent in a 1925 S cent, thinking it was either the DDO or RPM. It came back as just a 1925 S F15, not even worth grading unless it was the error. My 1954 proof dime came back as PF 67, the two 1971 halfs came back as PF 66 and PF 68* and the ONLY one that came back as an error was my 1971 PF 69 dime, reverse struck through. So heck, what's a guy to do. And, like I said, it's been a while since I signed on, and I checked my 1971 registry, the only one that I'm concentrating on...and have going. I'm still #3, but I looked at the prices, and the cent (PF 68UC) has fallen 1/2 price from the 350 that it used to be, the half dollar (PF 68UC) fell 100 dollars to 250, I mean, it's like the stock market! And anyone on PCGS knows how their pricing is...looks just like it. What I'm asking is, after every report I've read on 1971 proof sets and all the articles I read that it's the last year before the mint started "standardizing" the way they made proof sets, meaning all coins will have the frosted faces and not just the dime, or half or cent. As I have stated before the 1971 quarter in PR69 UCAM is, in my opinion, severly undervalued, considering the other quarters with that grade, and how many there AREN'T. Speaking just from NGC, I think the 1971 proof quarter has the least amount (6 total graded as UCAM) in that grade, I think going back till 1951 (4 graded as UCAM)? With that said, how can the prices of said set be falling? I think yet again, my investments will be shifting from coins to hot sauces. They at least hold their value.
