1900-P Morgan Dollar: Obverse polished; scratch accross cheek; average wear.
-Eye Appeal: virtually none
-Memories: Priceless!!!!!Herman was my Dad. He passed on 6 years ago. Dad was never a coin collector, but he was a great encourager of his son to try anything that he really wanted to do. I have great memories of him teaching me to ride a bike; catch a baseball (that one got me a black eye); to fish.Through all these years, I can remember that Morgan Dollar on Dad's belt buckle. I never gave it a lot of thought, but I can remember it always being at the middle of Dad's torso.Years later, when I started collecting as an adult, Dad and I would look at my collection and discuss various coins. I recall him bringing out his coin (now removed from the belt buckle) and asking its worth. "Not much", I said,"Just a few bucks".How wrong I was! As I hold that coin now, and remember all that Dad meant and still means to me, it's more than clear to me now- this coin is priceless!!Happy Father's Day, Herman!! I love you, Dad!!!
