I was going through my 'things' and found this old thing I bought at a ESTATE auction - AS if you hadn't heard that before aye ... Unfortunately the thing is starting to rot ( TONE ) - Thought you would like to take a look - I rmember paying 25 dollars for this ( stole it ) a wile back ...

 

Its an AFRICAN motif BOLO - Silver Round and Clasp / The HEAD IS IVORY and the eyes are abolone. Its kinda neat ...

I'm going to guess that it is from Mexico or some other Central American country. I wouldn't think Alaskan natives would have any use for a bolo tie, but this kind of metalwork and the abalone are quite common south of the border.
