Has anyone taken the time to complain about the cent melting ban?

I really don't believe it has to do much with anything at all. Virtually unenforceable but it scares the small guy like us.

Au contraire! It is enforceable! An inside rumor has it that the Mint Police and Secret Service are watching the known smelters and assayers, including those whose reputation are less than ethical!

It's never illegal to sell to anyone.

The folks that melt it, at this time are the ones taking the risk and I'm sure there are those doing just that.
