There is also a planetary convergance this weekend, hasn't happened since 1925 and will not happen again til 2053, 45 minutes prior to sunrise, see Jupitor/Mars/Venus all together in one place.

RWB...you are correct, I stand corrected. Mercury it is...I was not in my correct orbital path...it is cloudy here and were not going to see this conjunction...rats.

I saw it here in the Washington area. One of the few times that Mercury can be easily seen and Jupiter made a fine marker for it. Next two mornings should be good too.

 

Hawking deserves more than medals - hope he get his wish to be the first human to experience "warp drive."
