1878 8TF ANACS MS63......This is where the fun kicks in! For those of you searching for VAM's, you can find just as many already in slabs as you can raw. In many instances, the TPG's won't attribute it unless it is a "Top 100", "Hot 50", etc. so they go undetected. I got this one locally, and it's a VAM-7, "Spiked A" (in STATES). The doubling on this puppy is all over the map.......IGWT, E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, date, wreath, olive leaves and stars. It also has the extra feathers at the base of the wings.

I thought I'd throw these in just to prove that I'm not totally fanatical about silver dollars.

Chris, my friend-----Certainly perfectly normal. You love Morgans and Vams----and die clashes too. Those medals are lovely picked out by you.

Something good comes out of life when a man collects and appreciates what he enjoys. You are just having a lot of fun buddy. Bob [supertooth]

Yes, it is copper (cuivre). It was listed by the seller as bronze and I won it for the opening bid.
