Got new camera what you think of pics? I know i have to fix lighting, I am goin to get some ott lights tom but just took a few of this 2005 ocean view with 2 die cracks just wanted to see how good the close ups are, btw camera is Canon s2 is

ty I know its not much but it is a start once I get proper lighting things should be alot better ty tho for grade I am happy it was passing ,D

The one major thing I would comment on is that some of the pictures are out of focus. The closeup ones look very nice tho.

They look good for your first pictures. Work on your white balance.

This works for me most of the time.

 

1) Get your camera setup about 81/2 inches from the coin

 

2) Put it in the Av Mode.

 

3) Turn the self timer On.

 

You can set 4-7 by pushing the Function button.

 

4) Set the White Balance to evaluate and push the the set button, it helps to have a white or grey sheet of paper under the lens.

 

5) Set the ISO to Auto to start. You can play with this later, I like 50

 

6) Set to Vivid

 

7) Set images to L - 2592x1944

 

8) Turn On the Macro.( I never use the Super Macro)

 

9) With the 12x Zoom, fill the screen up with coin.

 

You should be taking some great images in no time. Have fun and enjoy this great hobby!

Nice work, but how about reducing the size of your pics so scrolling back and forth to read each line or to view an entire picture isn't necessary. It makes me dizzy.
