I'm thinning out my collection!

I'm Thinning Out My Collection!!!

Background:

I'm trying to focus my collecting efforts on a few sets that I have a chance of actually finishing in the next few years. As I'm a grad student and newly married to boot, my funds are quite limited. As a result, I'm selling off part of my collection which no longer reflects the collection direction I'm working toward. The funds this generates will then be put toward my current collecting goals.

Items for Sale:

Book:

A Handbook of 20th-Century United States Gold Coins: 1907-1933, David Akers $60.00 (free S&H)

Published by Bowers and Merena Galleries, Inc. in 1988. ISBN: 0-943161-19-3.

This hard-to-locate book is in brand-new condition, and is still in the printer's shrink-wrap.

An excellent gold reference. Read jtryka's review and see photos here.

Sets:

1999 clad proof set (5 state quarters, cent, nickel, dime, half) - $75.00

Three cracks in the case containing the 50c, 25c, etc, but the cracks do

not appear to penetrate to the exterior (i.e. my fingernail doesn't catch on

them when I run it across the exterior surface); coins appear to be fine inside;

a few very minor scuffs on the 2 cases, nothing major; box shows a little wear; COA included.

1999 Special Mint Sets - 1999-P and 1999-D SBA $1 - (2 avail.) - $10.00/ea

I have several 1999 Special Mint Sets of Susan B. Anthony (SBA) Dollars. Each set includes two mint-sealed packs, one containing the 1999-P SBA dollar and a Philadelphia mint token, the other containing the 1999-D SBA dollar and Denver mint token (all uncirculated). The coin packs are enclosed in a mint envelope along with a certificate of authenticity (see photos below). The 1999 SMS SBA dollars have a different finish (proof-like, almost like chrome) that makes them necessary to create a complete year/mint/variety collection of the series. Read more and see photos here.

I've also got the following JFK Halves that I bought as part of a lot but are duplicates:

2001 P

2001 D

2004 P

Each roughly MS-62 to MS-63, I think.

I'm asking for $6.00 shipped for the three coins or I'll trade them for 1 MS grade 1964-D. I'll throw in the 2002 proof mentioned above for $10 total, shipped.
