Hi,

 

Frequent poster on the CGC boards, but newbie here. I've been thinking about selling my 2004 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Proof coin and was curious what a decent price would be and where a good place to sell it might be.

Do not try selling it to a dealer or bullion wholesaler since they will only give spot price for it.

 

Try the NGC and PCGS boards or, better yet, sell on ebay. That will probably be your best bet to get the most out of your coin.

Thanks. I only found one sale in the completed auctions on eBay for a BIN of $760. I wish there were a few more sales to go by as I don't know if that was high,low, or average.
