Slab Sealing?????????Can you explain please

Can someone tell me how the slabs for pcgs and ngc are sealed? I know that it involves ultrasonic sealing but I was wondering how its done and what equipment is used. feel free to comment please..

I had to take a year of plastics and we were able to utilize a ultrasonic welder. Very cool. Also, very fast weld time.
