I appreciate all the input on this coin, and the discussion about the differences in striking characteristics between HUB #1 and HUB #2 ...

 

The coin is in an NGC 58 holder. It's the ex De Olden, ex J. Warren Long.

 

I can see all the arguments for grading it anywhere between an AU 55 and an AU 62, so I guess 58 is a happy medium. Some of the points that I thought were wear, I'm beginning to see more as a strike issue, the more I study it...and other coins. As far as the Luster, which I think is pretty bold for this year (in my limited experience)...there are luster breaks but such may be the case with coins graded in the lower 60-63 range by either NGC or PCGS (at least this is what I've seen), though, I guess that doesn't necessarily mean they are mint state.
