I was kind of perplexed at how far this thread was going because I asked a similar question 3-4 years ago in my rookie days and that was a Dead Thread.

 

It is basically the "Don't ask, don't tell" theory.

Well we currently keep ours in the packages they arrived in. The coins we had before joining this board are in a portable safe...so if we are robbed the person can take the whole thing with him and work on opening it at his convenience . We don't have anything of much value so for now we aren't too concerned with insurance....but it is good to think about it for the future.
