Interesting update, Mark. But, even though Canada has a socialized health care system, a US citizen will still receive the bill.

Didn't cost me a dime cool.gif for emergency care, stitches in the face, and a whole ot of my girl's cryin' frown.gif. Of course, things may have changed more recently.

Bob: I don't know where your daughter goes to college, but I have a son graduating in May. The going rate for his tuition, room-and-board and expenses (in attending an Eastern brand-name school) will stop your heart! My youngest daughter graduated from an Ivy-League school in 2003 and I am still recovering from the cost for both of them. Because I was a professional person before I became ill, neither child was eligible for any financial assistance. I sure that you know this tale well, Bob. That is why I sold a large portion of my coin collection in the past year and one-half. I had to float the last of a promise that I had made to these children.

I'm writing a novel. When it gets published and movie rights are bought by Steven Speilberg I will have a few million. Then, I will contact Douglas Winter, fly him out to my house for dinner and a day in town. Then, I will go visit Q. W. Bowers, and discuss things, learn some stuff. I live frugally with minor extravagances, so most of that money will be disposable income. Of course, the charities, the causes, that would be my main job.
