Nice picks everyone! (thumbs u

I'm all the more frustrated that I can't share the pic of my new West Point Bicentennial Commem. The merchant sent it to my permanent address instead of my college address as I had requested. :sorry:

Harvey,

I have to agree with Kriptonitecomics, the 1913 dime you posted shows cleaning hairlines on the obverse immediately in front of Liberty's face. Sorry.

Speaking of 1913 Barbers, here is the latest addition to my Set # 3 Barber Halves:

This little beauty just arrived, I picked it up at Stack's 72nd

Anniversary Sale last week or so. This is also the year my

Grandfather was born in County Cork, Ireland.

The grade is AU 58, in a PCGS holder.

Naw, I think I'll keep this quarter eagle - the date has alot of meaning to me and my family.

Here's something from the year I got my drivers license. lol.

I just picked this up from a DLRC web auction:

Boiler78,

That was worth the wait. I've always wanted either a Willow or a Pine Tree Shilling

being from Massachusetts.

You certainly picked up a very choice example.

Congratulations on a wonderful pick-up.

I don't collect gold, but I'm curious about this $2-1/2. Liberty's ear looks strange, at least to me it does. It looks like there is an inner "lip" (for lack of a better word). Is that normal for this coin? I've never paid much attention to others.

That's a nice pick-up!

Good morning, again.

My most recent acquisitions aren't all that exciting but here they are. I collect primarily U.S. obsolete type but decided to include the Ike dollars, Anthony and Sacagawea dollars. Here are 2 pieces that arrived the same day.

I only have this quarter Eagle and another - also an 1889 in NGC 58 which is at the bank. Next trip to the Safe Deposit Boxes, I'll get the NGC coin out and compare the two. I didn't really pay too much attention to the ear die marker you mentioned.

The coin looks normal to me - but what do I know ?

Nothing really spectacular but a nice addition to my sets. A 2007 S Utah State 25 Cent PF 70 Ultra Cameo. Acquired because of the Trains on the reverse.

I like it Rey !!!!!!! I was unaware of the trains in the design. I think I would like to have a nice example myself. Now that I have seen yours.

Is yours silver or clad ? I think I`ll go with the silver.
