This has got to be the weakest strike I've ever seen on a Morgan!

I've seen some strikes much worse than that -- there are some New Orleans doozies from 83 and 84 -- if they are slabbed, they typically grade just MS-62, even with good luster and clean surfaces (as they should).

 

Your coin is a below average strike, but very common on an 02-O. Some don't mind soft strikes as much, so you might get a good price if you sell it. Like you, I hate weakly struck coins, so I would unload it.

 

I'll takes more marks or less luster before I settle for a weak strike.
