The NGC new clear plastic is the Real Deal!

After talking with Scott Schechter about the new clearer NGC plastic, I took 20 NGC slabs to the Baltimore Show and asked Scott to reholder them in the new, optically clearer plastic. The coins arrived today and the results are terrific-the optical quality of these new slabs is on par with the older, fatty NGC holders with no bubbling or pebbly surfaces. The copper Proof Indian Cents especially just jump out at you in these new slabs. I have to give Scott kudos as he was a true pleasure to work with. I am not sure when the change to the new clear plastic will be complete, but it will be well worth it to change to these newer slabs, especially for copper coins.
