2005 U.S. Mint Westward Journey Nickel Sets

Unless you really thought the Ebay market was going to bring you at least 2x your money on these, why would anyone want 6 nickels for 12.95? I don't get it.

I know what you are saying.

The thing that struck my interest was that

it's only a two or three year mint product.

 

If you buy one set and add the s/h your paying about $18 for six nickels

Looks asw silly as the last one. There are third party holders that you could make your own with, with all the nickels form the bank and those left over form Mint sets that got submitted.

Are people here ordering any of these? If so, why? Is it to make a few bucks on Ebay? That would be the only reason that would make sense to me.

I imagine the Mint will make as many as they can sell. I think the only people who will reap a profit from these are CV and HSN when they sell them for the unbelievably low price of $29.95.
