can you help me ID this Krause book..

just wondering which edition it is, or what year it's from.. i can't find anything specific, not even a copyright date? but it says platinum is $395 an oz, silver $5.. gotta be a few years old at least

The date should be on the copyright page, probably page 2 after the title page, where it lists the publisher, Library of Congress number, etc. It may be in Roman numerals.

What an odd thread. Usually the Krause is the indentifier rathet then the identifiee.

That's the first edition of the 17th Century volume, the earliest coverage of the non-specialty series. The current edition is the third.
