I love posting pics of great coins. And now that I'm really getting the hang of the new version of Photoshop the coins are just popping out like they do in real life.

I picked up a nice 1867 no rays nickel a few months back. I haven't imaged it yet or I would make it three of a kind.

Thanks. It's actually in an NGC MS65 holder, but I don't think anyone would argue if they saw it in a 66 holder.

Damnit! When that thing melted at 960 deg. C, I thought something was wrong . (Nickel melts at 1455 C. )

 

Is this one not nickel too?
