   Welcome to the NGC chat board. 

   This chat board is devoted to topics concerning coins (numismatics), not postage stamps (philately).  The NGC Registry forum is for topics relating to the NGC certified coin registry, where a collector of such items can display images of and compete for awards respecting their collections of NGC certified and some PCGS certified coins. Although there are some collectors of both coins and stamps, for the most part they are different groups of people.

   I saw your topic in the "Ask NGC/NCS" forum. You seem to be under the impression that companies that authenticate and grade collectibles are appraisal services. They are not. They are for dealers and collectors who have sufficient knowledge to estimate that the items they submit have sufficient value to warrant the substantial per item and per order fees and expenses involved in having their items graded and encapsulated by these companies. If you are not already familiar with the market values of your stamps, you could spend many multiples of their value submitting them to these services.

   You should find an established stamp dealer or other stamp expert in your area to appraise your collection. I'm not particularly familiar with this field but understand that the American Philatelic Society is an established national association of stamp collectors and dealers. The APS has a dealer directory at https://stamps.org/dealer-search.
