But then, there’s the “other thing”. There are exactly TWO (2) known 1982-D small date bronze cents in existence. Two. Now you’re certainly free to imagine you are so meritorious that you just need to look hard enough for long enough and you’ll find number three. But the real mystery is why there were ever ANY of them. There should not be any. Each of the existing two make it LESS LIKELY a third will ever be found.
