1979 S $1 poof type 2?

Is this a  1979 SBA $1 type 2 mint mark? The interior of the S is not as clear as other type 2 examples I have seen, but this mint mark is not nearly as blobular as type 1s I have seen.

    Yes, it is a "type 2" "S" mint mark as that term is used on 1979 proof coinage. The determination is made by the shape of the mint mark.

Oddly, it is a Type 2 BECAUSE it’s a 1979.  If is were a 1981 with that exact same ‘S’, it would be a Type 1.
