1969 s penny

I have two s mint mark penny but they both have different s shape it could be that one is upside down ? two different coins

Your photos are of a 1969 and a 1968, two different coins in very different states of preservation, that is why they don't match.

   Mintmarks were punched by hand into coinage dies until the early 1990s. They can vary in style as well as in position.

The U.S. Mint introduced entirely new master dies for the cent in 1969. These will not match previous year coins.

Yes. ^^^This.^^^ There is probably no bigger change from one year to the next in Lincoln cent obverses than the 1968 to 1969 transition. They are a couple of other contenders, but to me, 1968 to 1969 is the king.
