Perhaps the following option should be offered upon submission:

For an additional fee, the submitted coin should undergo a non-reactive bath prior to grading and encapsulation in order to remove any reactive substance from the coin's surface. This would minimize any changes in the future. And, slabs should be enhanced to the point where they are completely sealed from the atmosphere with no leakage. If the coins are bathed and then sealed in an inert slab (in an inert environment) then any future complications should be minimized.

Victor, this raises another question:

If a submitter elected not to pay the additional fee for a "non-reactive bath", wouldn't the warranty for the TPG services then be limited or negated? It would seem to me they would have to modify the warranty if this option is waived.
