Gold coin, real or fake? 0

Hi Everyone,

Slid over from the CGC forums. Just checking in on a gold coin and any info would be helpful.

Appears heavy in weight and has a stamp of 18K on the edge, see pic.

It appears to be made with a fine detail die (if that's the right term).

Looks like it's an advertising piece for Nutz Chips, they specialized in solid gold poker chips and golf markers. Probably a good chance it's actually gold but I couldn't say for sure. Maybe a jeweler could test if for you.

Weight, thickness, and diameter would help. The relief is consistent with cheap medals and tokens.
