Welcome to the forum, did you check the accuracy of the scale?   Have you done a specific gravity test?

Make sure you have a calibration weight (like 50 grams) to verify scale accuracy before doing a SG test.

Interesting.  After doing the specific gravity test (avg of 3 test), you need a good source for acceptable values.  The Coin World Almanac has those values from the US mint, but I don't have access to my copy atm.
