1956 D cent RPM? 1 1

Does this 1956 D cent look like it has a re-punched mintmark, and if so, which one is it?

Re-punched mint marks are sometimes difficult to distinguish from other types of strike-related doubling, in my opinion. Your coin does have that look about it, but trying to determine which one will be tricky. Most of the markers for these coins are die scratches or light die breaks, which can be difficult to impossible to see on a worn coin.

Edit: you can probably disregard RPM-013. The mint mark position is wrong on that one.

It does look like a 1956-D RPM-006. Can you post full pics of both sides, and have you been able to identify the stage or any of the die cracks/scratches to verify that or is it too worn to look for those.

I think the MM matches RPM-006 the best also, were you able to confirm any of the other markers for that RPM as listed on VV?

No... It's in too worn of a condition to confirm any of the markers. But thanks for the input anyway
