JKN58
I have researched this coin and see there are many varieties. I have it identified as a KM 489.12. First bust, Small crowns, Later harp, No mintmark. Is this a rare variety and if so worth grading? Thx!

Even though 1696 is a long time ago, I believe the reverse gouge is severe enough to prevent a straight grade. This is the King William who was for years a co-monarch with Mary II and the two of them jointly have a college in Williamsburg, VA, called “Billy & Mare’s” or something like it.
