Clay1492
I took this half out of a mint set thinking the plastic had discolored, making it hard to see the coin clearly. After removing it, I realized it wasn't the plastic. I know it looks like blurry pictures but this is what it actually looks like. I am wondering if it's just a weak strike and if the reverse could possibly be a doubled die? The M of America is where I see it best. Thanks for looking! Mr.Bill347
Yes is see the right side is weak maybe struck through grease? Not unusual for a mint set. I received what appear the be the best struck Kennedy halves I own. The seller even had a novel way of shrink wrapping them meaning he took extreme precautions with the P and D coins and the S proof cameo. These are the brand new 2022 coins. The rolled Kennedy’s from the Mint(s) have been exceptional. I stopped buying the bags of 200 a few years back because they were too, imagine this, “baggy”.
