I have no idea how to identify this medallion/coin.  I got it in a lot from an estate sale.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's commemorating someone in a fairly easygoing Islamic context. The name is a little difficult to read, mainly because of the width of the strokes that creates some confusion which letter is in question, but you can take it for gospel (so to speak) that it's not a mosque token because I cannot imagine a context in which a religion that rejects the depiction of the human form would put it on a mosque token. Plus, it doesn't have any of the standard Quranic stuff, like the Kalima or even the names of Muhammad or Allah.

I don't know what it's worth. Probably depends on perspective and location.
