I can see where he thought something might be worth something someday, (1976 proof sets, 1999 proof sets), but other I think he got just to say I have a coin. This is one of the I have a coin. The Neophyte Numismatist Posted March 9, 2022 Share Posted March 9, 2022 As others have said, that coin has seen some pretty heavy circulation. 1864 is the year before the Civil War ended, the year first submarine was used by the US Confederate Army to sink the USS Housatonic, the year the Heineken brewery was founded, ...
