Just here to ask a question this is my first time I don't know what I'm doing LOL but what I'm wondering is if I should send this 1974 no mint mark penny in for grading before I sell it or put it on auction dot-dot... Wondering if anybody would mind giving me some kind of advice as to what steps I should take next and or if anybody thinks this coin is worth getting graded thank you so much for your time...

Jeana😊

It appears to be a normal 1974 Philadelphia Mint cent in MS RD (red). You mentioned that it has no mintmark, but that's normal for Philly cents, except the 2017-P cents.

Right but I saw on YouTube that the highest grade for that coin was mint State 66 I believe and it went for like two grand at the auction.... So I was thinking mine might be a better grade or comparable what do you think the grade would be for my coin

Incorrect, the highest NGC grade for that coin is MS68 RD. A 1974 MS66 RD cent is worth approximately $15.

If you post closeup, properly oriented, cropped images of both sides of the coin in the US, World and Ancient coins section of the Forum you'll get more responses as to the condition of the coin.
