2021 Mint Sets FINALLY Arrive 0

They were released according to the Mint’s website on September 24. I had it on subscription. It shipped on October 10, a SUNDAY!!!! It arrived today. I could have walked to Memphis and gotten it.

The Mint is in utter disarray. Why not? The entire federal government is dysfunctional and utterly incompetent. 
 

Now the coins themselves. All prooflike or should I say “polished like”. No sign whatsoever of cartwheel luster whatsoever. No contact marks I can see, sure. Based on marks alone, the whole 14 coin set should be MS68’s. But they lack a je ne sais quoi that I like to see on Uncirculated coins. They look umm, err, lacquered.

I got my set yesterday. I agree they are pretty shiny. The Philly set had some small spots and scratches here and there. The Denver set was the better looking of the two.
