NGC Grading Tiers Question

I’m confused by the tiers, and their descriptions aren’t helping me much. What tier would a US gold commemorative coin (e.g. $10 Mayflower 2020 Commemorative) fall in? Not Gold because it’s not a Liberty or any of the others listed, also not Specialty Gold because it’s not any of those listed

“Period 1 and 2 California fractional, $1, $2.50 and $3 gold, $5 Indians and all better date US gold.‘

though it’s entirely possible I don’t know what “all better date US gold” means.

Help please? Thanks very much!

I would think the Modern tier is your best choice for that coin. The coin can be of any composition and has an insurance (max) limit up to $2,000.

You could also submit using the Early Bird, Express or Walk Through tiers but they are more money.
