Mc10139
Hello all! I've had this ike for a while, it came in a apallo anniversary holder with story board. I cracked it out to out It under a microscope and verify it was a happy eagle variety which it is for sure. When researching i also have found there were a very small % struck on proof planchet. What do I look for besides the fields?
Greenstang
It can't be a proof, all proofs were struck on a 40% silver planchet and had a S mint mark. Yours is a Business Strike. Also there were over 4 million proofs struck so they are not that hard to find.
KarenHolcomb
Good looking coin though. Now put it back into it's holder and don't touch it again without gloves on. Uncirculated Coins can be severely damaged by the oils in your fingers and hands and deem them worthless.
