Wow, excellent reverse on that 1917-S walker. The early (1916-1923-S) walkers did not have the strong skirt lines like the later ones did. The obverse looks just a hair away from an Ef40. The reverse looks EF. Looks like a great coin especially if you bought it below the EF price.

After considering the obverse and reverse of the coin, I'd put the grade at VF30 obv and EF40 rev with a VF35 net. I could be WAY wrong here, though, and it would not surprise me. I suppose for an early date, I've probably underestimated the grade. Nice coin, BTW.
